Party season is nearly upon us! While Christmas prep might be your main focus at the moment, New Year’s Eve follows swiftly on its heels so if you’d like to celebrate in style on December 31st, now’s the time to be thinking of ideas. If you’re hosting Christmas then the idea of planning another big bash shortly afterwards might fill you with dread, but the great thing about New Year’s Eve is that it doesn’t have to be quite the blow-out affair that Christmas often turns into. It is really about the simple pleasure of gathering friends and family, perhaps hooking up with those people you rarely get to see, and enjoying great company, a bit of music and a tipple or two. If you’ve exhausted yourself in the kitchen over the festive season, keep things simple with just drinks and nibbles – after all the excesses of Christmas, your guests won’t mind too much if you keep eats to just simple shop-bought canapés, posh crisps and a plate of mince pies. Alternatively, if you would like to host a bigger bash you could ask guests to bring a dish, a no-hassle way to provide something a bit more substantial without going to too much stress or expense.
Need an excuse for a party? With Halloween just a couple of weeks away, now’s a great time to plan a gathering and here at Neviti we have an exciting new range designed specifically with older children and adults in mind – after all, why should the kids have all the fun?!
Even if you’re not up for a big event, October 31st offers a chance to liven up a Friday or Saturday night and get together with a few friends. And if you have teens who are too big for trick or treating but still want to celebrate in some way, hosting a gathering at home allows them to get into the spirit of things.
Our new range ‘Graveyard Gathering’ has a distinctly dark, properly spooky style – your teens will be impressed by the lack of comic-style monster and vampires. Featuring a misty, graveyard, studded with crumbling gravestones and circled by black bats – the range includes all the standard party essentials such as paper plates, napkins and cups, as well as some imaginative extras to up your gatherings ghoul factor.
With the light fading on another summer and a definite crispness creeping into the air, it’s nearly time to embrace a new season, pack the flip flops away and take down the garden bunting. We’ve had a great summer of outdoor celebrations, but now we’re looking forward to embracing the autumn and bringing the parties indoors!
Think autumn and one thing instantly springs to mind – Halloween. We’re excited to be launching not one but two new ranges for the occasion this year, each with their own distinctive styles. ‘Trick or Treat’ joins our existing ‘Happy Halloween’ collection to offer a new option with younger children in mind, so it’s perfect if your kids want to host a party for their friends this year. Colourful and fun, ‘Trick or Treat’ encapsulates the excitement of taking to the streets in costume on October 31st, to knock on the neighbours’ doors and hunt down some delicious goodies. Featuring a cast of friendly characters – a skeleton, pumpkin, vampire and monster – the range is perfect for tapping into the spooky vibe without giving your guests the heebie jeebies.
